In June this year, the heart of Moonee Ponds got a little louder and a lot more delicious with the launch of Toní Pasta & Wine. The venue, brought to life by the team behind Naga Moon and anchored by a glowing red bar at its centre, opened its doors with a packed launch night. Industry guests, locals, and friends were welcomed for an evening that blended inner-city buzz  with classic Italian warmth.

As an Agency, we worked with Toní to bring the night to life - from creative direction and pre-launch  support, to curating a guest list of key industry insiders, influencers and locals. We managed invitations, RSVPs and on-the-ground coordination on the day, working alongside venue staff to shape every detail of the event flow, guest experience, and content capture.

True to Toní, the launch was bold but unfussy - mini martinis, spritzes of the day, and wines flowed, while trays of house-made stuzzichini and handmade pasta made the rounds. Standouts included kingfish crudo with burnt orange and bronze fennel, and a deeply comforting beef cheek ragu.

Set to a soundtrack of vintage Italo disco and low-lit interiors that glowed crimson as the night unfolded, Toní introduced itself not just as a venue, but a new personality - cheeky, confident, and ready to be your new favourite local. The energy didn’t stop there - social feeds lit up with guest snaps, tagged mentions, and glowing reviews, amplifying Toní’s arrival far beyond Hall Street.

Aperitivo hours, share-style menus and a stacked wine list have anchored the experience ever since, with a Friday–Sunday lunch special that is already a local favourite.
